Iran Telephone Planning and Development Company is active in building different concrete structures such as manholes, concrete poles, andmetallic structures such as guyed towers, telephone booths, cross-connectcabinets and Main Distribution Frames (MDF). The company also producestelecommunications towers, is heavily involved in executing cablingprojects, and is active in implementing cable networks. In 1996 thecompany won the tender to implement the 700-km long TAE fiber-optic cableproject in Turkmenistan.
